Dr. Micah G. Kirscher

Chief Medical Officer - DNP, FNP-C

Dr. Micah started his career in the United States Coast Guard, flying search and rescue missions on HH-60 Jayhawk and C-130 Hercules aircraft. After 4 years of service, he traded in his flight suit for a white coat and embarked on his journey in medicine, enrolling in the renowned Doctorate program at Frontier University in Kentucky. Through his coursework, he realized that changes in medicine needed to be made. It became obvious to him that the traditional medical model was failing patients by restricting or even overlooking more natural and non-invasive treatments. And while working toward his degree, he also met his wife Coral. After graduating with his Doctor of Nursing degree and specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, he immediately started working in the field of Regenerative Medicine. Convinced these treatments were the most effective way to heal disease, he began to treat his patient population holistically.

After building on 11 years of expertise in the medical field, he forged a new concept in patient care, Renew Specialty Group. “Medicine changes and we need to stay up with the times. I tell patients, you get a new cell phone every 6 months because your old one goes out of date and the technology is obsolete. Medicine is the same way,” he says. “We are always learning; technology advances and education never stops. Why would you want a treatment today that has not changed since the 1970’s? Because that is what is happening in today’s traditional medical culture. At Renew we have taken the initiative and time to stay up to date with all cutting edge treatments. We offer these to patients who no longer want outdated, cookie cutter medical care.

Dr. Coral Kirscher

Director of Functional Medicine - DNP, FNP-C

Dr. Coral specializes in an empowering and holistic clinical approach to women’s health and wellness throughout the life cycle. She stresses personalized, innovative care that cultivates authentic wellness and activates the healing process. Coral brings to our practice her expertise in a broad spectrum of both traditional and holistic theory and practice. Her personal journey of healing from an autoimmune disorder, fatigue, pain, neurological, and microbiome dysfunction gives her particular insight into unraveling the complex challenges that women face when symptoms are overwhelming and healing feels elusive.

“My goal is to empower you, the patient, with meaningful information, cutting edge research, alternative perspectives, and a range of holistic options that offer you the tools you need to heal and feel well in your body. At the same time, avoiding the potential side effects and risks of synthetic hormones, pharmaceutical medications, and surgery,” she says. Coral enjoys being able to practice alongside her husband Micah and call Lake Norman home. They live in Mooresville with their two dogs, Cody a German Shepard, and Eloi a Great Dane. Eloi is a certified pet therapy dog and frequents the clinic on Wednesdays, working alongside his parents.
